Here it is! A traditional street party at The Fox to celebrate 80 years since VE Day.

Join us on Saturday 10th May from 4pm – bring your own picnic and come ready for a lovely afternoon of old-timey fun! We’ll be closing the car park for the day, playing vintage tunes, and getting into the spirit with some decorations and community cheer.

The amazing Shannon Murrell will be performing all the classics from 6:30pm, and we’ve got a couple of traditional games for the kids (yes, there will be potato sacks!) plus a bouncy castle to keep them entertained. No ball games permitted please.

Kray is whipping up some fabulous 1940s-themed cocktails, and we’ll have slush pouches and ice lollies for the little ones.

This is a proper community party – everyone is welcome! Bring folding chairs or a picnic blanket if you’ve got them. We have quite a few benches and decorations on the way too.

If it rains, we’ll just take the fun indoors.

Please remember no drinks purchased from outside (we’re still a business), and everything will wrap up by 9pm to keep things respectful for our neighbours.

If anyone plays piano and can bring one along, we’d *love* a good old-fashioned sing-along!

Dressing up is encouraged – let’s make this a special one as we come together to honour our veterans and fallen heroes.
